In that I set out to defame and vilify many of the actors, writers, directors, studio and network executives I’ve worked with – my hot shot attorney suggested I use caution in naming names.

What to do? I decided to look for another career that didn’t take many brains, creativity, or talent – hence I chose to devote my life to Producing and Writing. You might not realize it but sheep herding – except for a few areas of Soho – isn’t exactly a growth industry in the Big Apple. Growing up in New York City it became apparent that Manhattan didn’t offer me much of a chance to make a living in the family business. Coming from a long line of sheep herders there seems no obvious connection between the two careers. I am often asked how I got started in the Entertainment Business. Mike Stokey, Anne Francis, Mary Tyler Moore, Mike Douglas, Bruce Johnson, Bill D’Angelo, Antonino Rocca, Pat Summerall, Sam Denoff, Sonny Grosso, Frank Brill, Jack Benny, George Burns, Alan Rafkin, Dixie Carter, Bernie Brillstein, Pat Harrington Jr., Harvey Korman, Bonnie Franklin, Ray Allen, Jim Nabors, Werner Von Braun, Leo Durocher, Skip Steloff, Sonny Bono, Earle Hagen, Leonard Goldberg, and recently Saul Turtletaub. If I tried to list all of them it would look like the Yellow pages so here are just some: Some were friends, others just enter- tainers I work with. To all those men and women who have passed during my fifty years in show business.
